If you've been
keeping up with the news, you're aware that antioxidants are
good. But do you know what they are and why they're good? I
could write a 50 page report on the affects of antioxidants,
but I won't do that. I'll give you a quick run down on why you
need to get more antioxidants into your system and why Xango
juice is the way to go!
First and foremost,
antioxidants protect against free radicals. Let me explain what
free radicals are. Free radicals are formed when weak bonds
split thus leaving a molecule with an odd, unpaired electron.
Even if you weren't great in Science class, you must admit that
doesn't sound good. That's because it's not. When a molecule
has an odd number of unpaired electrons, they react quickly
to gain stability. To do this, the "free radical"
molecule will steal an electron from the nearest stable molecule
rendering it now a free radical itself. The whole process will
have a domino affect, cascading quickly and eventually disrupting
a living cell. By doing so, unwanted cells, such as cancer cells,
can form.
Free radicals do
form naturally in the body, but factors such as herbicides,
pollution, carcinogens from cigarette smoke, radiation, etc.
can produce free radicals as well. Normally the body can defend
against naturally occurring free radicals, but if antioxidants
aren't present or if the production of free radicals becomes
too rapid, damage may occur.
Fruits and vegetables
are loaded with antioxidants. Some more than others. Such is
the case with Xango and the mangosteen fruit in particular.
The mangosteen fruit contains dozens of different xanthones
which each possess vigorous phytonutrients with powerful antioxidant
properties. Xango juice's main ingredient is the whole mangosteen
fruit, but it also contains several other fruits to combine
for an unmatched, antioxidant punch!
